The beach is stony at first, then turns sandy about a meter in. We came with a group of motorcycle riders, and this was the best place we stayed on our trip. Everything was excellent, from the delicious breakfast to the incredibly friendly, welcoming owner and staff.

The rooms were modern and very clean, though small, with barely any wardrobe space for clothes. There also wasn't a fridge to keep drinks cold, which was a shame. Still, I really enjoyed my stay at Limonata Hotel in Assos. The terrace and garden were lovely places to relax during the day, and the setting is peaceful, with beautiful views toward the Greek Island. The pier was a bonus, and we loved diving off it for a swim. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and there was plenty.

We lived nearby and didn't stay overnight, but went there for breakfast and dinner because the food was excellent. Everything was homemade and fresh, and the quality was high. The swimming area was also very nice. The team were friendly and flexible about our requests. I can recommend it.

I visited in September 2024, when it was a quiet time for the place. The rooms were clean, and I had a peaceful, relaxing stay with excellent food and service. I'd highly recommend it.

The beach feels private and intimate, a lovely spot to rest and relax while enjoying their amazing cuisine. It's a wonderful place run by wonderful people.
