Memo's Garden Butik Otel

Ms. Pınar and Mr. Zeki are incredibly sweet, and the staff were very nice too. Our room was spotless. Still, a hotel needs to offer more than that for a vacation, and I don’t think we’ll choose this one again. Nothing seems to have been updated since last year, and this year our bed was very uncomfortable. The lighting was dim, and we had to pull the power strip over to the bed. Breakfast was much worse than last year. The olives, chocolate, watermelon, and tomatoes were all poor quality and tasteless. There’s no shampoo or soap in the rooms, and the liquid hand soap they do provide is watery. For such a beautiful location and management, this level of service is unacceptable. I’m writing this with real sadness, and hope it’s taken as constructive feedback and leads to improvements.

The rooms are like little separate houses, and they were quite adequate. The sea is about ten steps away. Inside, there’s a real family feel, so you never feel like a stranger. My father and I spent four nights and five days here. The owners checked in every two or three hours to see if anything was wrong, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a buffet with different dishes each morning, all delicious. The tuna with béchamel sauce at dinner was fantastic. Thanks so much for everything.

We’ve made a point of coming back to stay every summer in recent years. The rooms are clean and well cared for, and in the morning you’re just a few steps from the sea. That peaceful feeling is a real privilege. Memo's Garden has the incredible green of the Kaz Mountains on one side and clear blue sea on the other. The kitchen is unbelievably good, with wonderful meals and lovely conversations every night. The guests are a very select crowd, and I hope it stays that way. Pınar hanım and Zeki bey make you feel like part of the family. They’re warm and friendly, and the staff fit the place perfectly, genuine people who carry the warmth of nature in them. It’s full of people smiling all the time, and you can’t help soaking up their calm. If peace is what you’re after, this is the place.

The water is warmer here than at other spots in the area, and so clear. Since it sits on the open part of the bay, the beach reminded us of Ayazma beach in Bozcaada. There’s a clean, pleasant stretch of beach for morning or evening walks, and the views are lovely at both times of day. We came as a family to swim and enjoy some quiet time. The location is perfect, the service and food are very good, especially the fresh fish and mezes. I’d recommend the meatballs too. The people who come here are warm and respectful. Thanks to Ms. Pınar, Mr. Zeki, and the staff for looking after us. We’ll visit again next year.
