Zeushan Kucuk Otel

Just to be clear, I’m reviewing the business and restaurant service here, not the accommodation. My wife and I went to visit the tourist village of Adatepe. After parking and browsing the village stalls, people kept recommending the rice pudding at İbrahim's place, so we decided to try it. When the waiter came over, I realized we’d sat at Zeushan's table by mistake because the tables were so close together. Only the tablecloth colors were different. :) We figured there must be a reason, so we ordered cheese gözleme and menemen. The cheese gözleme was genuinely above average. The menemen had a wonderful aroma, and I could taste the tomatoes, peppers, and eggs separately. Its flavor reached me more in my soul than my body. For a while, I felt free from work and everyday stress, like I was really living. The tea, coffee, and delicious food gave us a wonderful few hours. If I can find time on a weekend, I’d like to try the hotel service too. But that menemen has stayed with me. Kudos to the staff and management.

It’s a nice spot right in the village center, and a good base for exploring with the family. Mr. Mehmet, the owner, was friendly and welcoming.

The gözleme was a disappointment. It barely seemed like gözleme, wasn’t brushed with oil, and the cheese inside tasted awful. It cost 200 TL. We were using the restaurant, not staying at the hotel. When our child needed the restroom, staff said it was broken, then the manager gave a different reason. They sent us to the public restroom in the village square, which made it seem like they just didn’t want restaurant customers using theirs.

The gözleme at their cafe was awful. I only understood why better after we walked through the kitchen on the way to the toilet. I wouldn’t eat there unless I had stomach medicine with me.
