Ada Camping

The water is beautiful and the nature is unmatched, and the place has nice views. The food tasted good, but it was so overpriced that we felt they were taking advantage of having no other restaurants nearby. We left hungry after spending well over 400tl on dinner, and had to go somewhere else just to feed our kids.

The staff were kind, the showers and toilets clean, and restaurant prices were acceptable. Entry for a day visit was 50TL per person, with free parking, but they wouldn't accept a credit card for the entry fee. The beach is small, with sunbeds taking up half of it, and there's no clear route to the sea from the back, so you have to weave around them. The sea was cold and it was windy during the first week of August 2018. Sea shoes are needed. The sunbeds were heavy, dirty, and rusty, so bring your own towel and be careful if you move them.

It was clean and quiet, and fine as long as you bring your own food and drinks. The restaurant is expensive: chicken shish was 45 tl, a small beer 12 tl, nescafe 7 tl, and a bottle of wine 90 tl. We paid 40 lira per person, plus parking and a tent, so for three people it came to about 100 tl for a night, which is close to a hotel price. A fridge also costs extra, so bring a cooler box or something similar.

The restaurant food was very good, but the grounds feel more suited to backpackers. If you're a Türk or earning TL, the price is far too high. Charging 100tl just for my wife and me to enter seemed a bit ridiculous.
