The old Greek house has a lot of charm and feels original, and Ms. Çiğdem was attentive. Still, we had a negative stay. Our room faced the courtyard where breakfast is served, so noise from people talking and getting things ready woke us around 6:30-7:00-8:00. Breakfast was basic, with standard supermarket foods like cheese, olives, and eggs, so don’t expect much variety. Parking was the biggest headache. The cobbled streets are too narrow for two cars to pass, and you can’t park nearby. It’s walkable to town, but the steep hills can leave your shoes unusable. Apart from Ms. Çiğdem’s care and the house’s originality, we didn’t find the experience particularly appealing.

My wife and I spent two nights here. The owner was kind and attentive, and we really liked the Aegean feel of the rooms. Having breakfast in the little garden was ideal. The cobblestones weren’t a problem for us, and wandering through the streets was enjoyable. The center isn’t really a walk away, though. Definitely recommended.

My mother and I stayed for 10 days in this small, comfortable place among historic Greek houses. Çiğdem Hanım has put a lot of care into it, and her handmade paintings and little details are lovely to look at. The only drawback was the fairly steep hill. Thanks to Çiğdem Hanım and her daughter for being so friendly and attentive, and best of luck with everything. 😍

We’ve stayed here twice, and it feels like home. Agapi is a beautiful old Greek house, decorated with real care, with clean, comfortable rooms. You can walk to the city center, and it’s a great place to experience Ayvalik. Thanks to the owner, Çiğdem, for being so attentive and creating such a lovely place.

The owners were kind, and the historic feel of Agapi made us really happy after we found it while looking for a place in Ayvalık. It’s a lovely old Greek house where you feel the narrow streets and natural atmosphere of Ayvalık all around you. The rooms are neat and clean, the breakfast is filling and absolutely delicious, and you can see traces of the past throughout the place.
