The one thing that bothered us was the bathroom having no shower cabin. It would be good if they fixed that. Otherwise, the rooms were spotlessly clean, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent.

The restaurant was a real highlight, especially the fish, which I’d recommend. The hotel is also in a great spot. I stayed for two nights and three days, and Mr. Özhan and Mr. Fatih were so attentive and caring. Many thanks to them both.

We spent two days there and felt well looked after from the start. While we waited at reception, they brought us coffee, and the parking attendant was helpful too. Our room and the linens were very clean, and breakfast had a good enough range at the buffet. They’d also left treats in the room’s minibar: pişi, simit, French fries, and gözleme. I’m curious what some reviewers feel is different about what people eat at home compared with here. Thanks again for everything.

The location is pleasant, but staying here for four nights was a bad experience for us. Our room door was broken and wouldn’t close unless we kept locking it. When we reported it, we were told the previous guests had broken it, but it still wasn’t repaired. The bathroom was filthy, and even after we asked, it wasn’t cleaned. Breakfast was poor and repeated the same menu all four mornings. The watermelon and melon didn’t seem freshly cut that day, and tasted as if they’d picked up the smells of the other food. Parking was another problem: streets are too narrow to park on, and parking in Ayvalık costs around 700 lira a day. The municipal lot next door is 400 lira daily but closes at 19:30. The hotel was also more expensive than other places.
