Our stay over 2025/2026 was a terrible experience and a complete disappointment. The service and facilities felt, at most, like those of a 2-star hotel. The restaurant was like a hospital cafeteria, and the food quality was extremely poor. Breakfast was practically inedible. Apart from olives, jam, and a few vegetables, there was nothing we could eat. There was no proper coffee, only two Nescafé vending machines, and the tea was badly made and undrinkable. The soft drinks, which tasted like water with syrup, were poor too. Dinner was no better, with only a few dishes and salads made from tasteless, low-quality ingredients. We had to eat in the city instead. The nearest decent options were approximately 2 km away, though that distance isn’t the hotel’s fault. The so-called New Year’s Eve gala dinner was a complete joke. It started with leftovers from breakfast, then two small pieces of meat with mashed potatoes and rice prepared like basic student cafeteria food. Dessert was plain gelatin pudding. It was nowhere near a festive dinner, especially for New Year’s Eve. The hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere, although at least it’s close to the beach and sea. Reception and housekeeping staff did try to help, and their efforts were noticeable. But the condition of the hotel and its facilities fell far below acceptable standards: old furniture, windows that don’t close properly, and generally worn-out rooms. It’s seriously overrated and didn’t provide the quality or comfort I expected for a New Year’s Eve stay. I wouldn’t recommend it.

A nice bonus is that the hotel sits right above the beach. In my room, though, the air conditioner was dusty. I only found out when I switched it on and dust fell into the room. The card slot for the lights was broken too. I asked the technical team when I saw them on my floor, and they quickly fixed it with a spare card. That was handy, since I might have had to wait if I hadn’t run into them.

I spent a week at the hotel. The food was okay, but I can’t say that about the rooms. Cleaners changed the towels, yet the rooms stayed filthy, with dust and everything else left there until I guess you leave for good. I complained, but it didn’t change. The staff are friendly if you’re Turkish. If you’re from another country and try to speak English, their response is very hard to understand. I can say for sure that if you don’t know Turkish, you shouldn’t even try to communicate with them.

The cafeteria is spacious, with pretty good food and lots of choices, though there aren’t many desserts. The outdoor pool is also very large, and the area around it feels like a jungle, with lots of friendly cats. The hotel itself is quite dated. The rooms are medium-sized but look old, and the walls are so thin you can hear people in the other rooms. The main lobby seems renovated, with a big shiny chandelier and plenty of chairs and tables for having coffee. Staff are somewhat friendly, though sometimes they ignore you when you ask questions. The room was clean, and both the breakfast and dinner buffets were good. The staff were very helpful. I also liked the sandy beach location, and the sea felt safe for swimming. It’s an older hotel, though: the key card took a few tries to open the door and switch on the lights. The shower was very poor, the bed cover felt scratchy, and the Wi-Fi quality depended on the room.
