Hotel Palmera Resort

Really great!

We stayed six nights, from September 2nd to 8th. I'd read some negative reviews beforehand and was hesitant, but the welcome was lovely and cleanliness was generally fine. The room cleaning could have been more thorough. We chose a deluxe room with a sea view, and it was airy, comfortable, and quite spacious. The pool was clean, and the beach was sandy and beautiful, with sun loungers and umbrellas available. The straw umbrellas let some sun through, so they may not give enough shade if you want full cover. We really enjoyed the stay and would gladly recommend it. The food was tasty and the buffet had a satisfying range. The food team were friendly and served us well, especially Mr. Emre and the ladies in the service department, who deserve a special thank you. We booked through ETS, and the price is a little different.

The hotel and rooms are quite old, but the staff were dedicated, attentive, and focused on making guests happy. Their service deserves praise. Mr. Devrim kindly helped us with our room when we arrived, and we'd like to thank him especially. The beach is beautiful and has its own sun loungers, and there's a pool too. Breakfast was adequate, with tables being cleared regularly, tea replenished, and items refreshed. With a renovation, this place could become a standout in the area, thanks to its staff.

The sea was the one good thing, but there are much nicer hotels on that beach. This place was unbelievably bad. The rooms were very old and in awful condition, and the bathroom and tap water was salty, like seawater, making it incredibly hard to shower or brush our teeth. The pool was tiny and nothing like the pictures, so we didn't use it. We chose it because it was affordable, but had to speak with them several times to get a playpen for our child, and in the end they forced us to.
