L'aura Cunda

From the outside, it seemed nice, and it even smelled good when we walked in. Then the problems started. After driving for hours, we arrived in the late afternoon and were told they had no record of our reservation. They showed us a ridiculously cramped basement room, and it seemed they were sending stranded guests to the neighboring hotel. The place they sent us to was worth only about a quarter of what we'd paid. The person in charge said, "I'll pay extra, just so you don't suffer," but that didn't make the situation feel right. While they showed us hotels on their phone, inappropriate messages popped up on the screen, which did nothing to inspire confidence. We got a full refund and left. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this place. It doesn't feel trustworthy at all.

We had a smooth, relaxing two-day stay, and the rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the whole place well kept. We first spoke with Mr. Hüseyin on the phone, and his kind, helpful manner made us decide to stay. His hospitality and knack for finding solutions made us feel confident from the start. Thanks for making our stay so pleasant.

We stayed from August 5th to 7th, four adults and one five-year-old. I've been to plenty of boutique hotels, but none have made me feel so at home. The owners were attentive and cheerful all day, always checking if we needed anything. Since it was available, they gave us a deluxe room with a sea view even though we'd booked economy, and we were thrilled. The room was a normal size for a boutique hotel, spotless, and had comfortable beds. The view was wonderful. Breakfast was average for the price and type of hotel, but filling enough. There was also a gentleman at reception at night, which isn't something you often find at boutique hotels. Google Maps says it's a 16-minute trip to Cunda market, but the side streets make it just three minutes 😂 My nephew can be fussy about hotels, but he told me, "Our check-out time is almost here, Auntie, please let us stay a little longer, our room is so nice, it feels like home." We'll definitely stay again when we come to Cunda. May God bless their efforts and make their business successful. They made us so happy.

This hotel made our spontaneous trip with friends even better. The team were attentive and professional, from arranging transportation to the way they communicated with us. Breakfast was above average, and I'd definitely recommend it. Hope everyone has a great vacation.
