The location was the best part, right in the city center and within walking distance of the ferry port, bus stop, and main areas. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building has an elevator, and the room had AC, heat, windows that open, and a mini fridge. My room had a few cleanliness problems, though that might not be true of every room. The bed felt like a box spring, and the mini fridge didn't get cold and smelled bad. The bathroom was nice but had poor ventilation and a slight mildew smell. Smoking is allowed throughout the hotel, including the rooms. My room didn't smell of smoke, but there was a cigarette burn on the sheets. I'd stay again if the price were lower. If it costs about the same as other hotels, I'd look elsewhere since the rooms are pretty average.

I was horrified when I mixed up the room number and my key opened someone else's room. I was naked and had just gotten out of the shower when the actual guest came in. The receptionist defended the setup, saying it wouldn't be an issue if customers didn't mix up their rooms. Apparently, the building was made so that the keys can open every door. When I asked if they were kidding and how they handled security and privacy, they told me to use the safe in the room. I swear I didn't sleep a wink during the week I stayed there. Couchsurfing or a bench seems safer. Most people also seem to use this place for flings, so I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or serious trips. LoL.
