Hotel Saracoglu

There’s an underground garage nearby for parking. The hotel is an economical choice in the city center, though the street right beside it makes it quite noisy.

The location is perfect, but this hotel is worth less than one star.

There’s a cafe by the Çoruh River, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are attentive, too. The rooms need renovation, and the building has plenty of shortcomings because of its age. Its central spot on Cumhuriyet Street is excellent.

We paid 1,800 lira, including breakfast and tea whenever we wanted. They were happy to accommodate two cyclists and let us bring our bikes inside the hotel so they wouldn’t have to stay parked outside. It’s a perfectly reasonable budget place in a very good location, and it matches its 3-star rating, so don’t expect anything out of the ordinary. Thanks very much for letting us keep the bikes inside.
