Kaya Belek Resort - Ultra All Inclusive

For what they charge, this felt more like an expensive letdown than a luxury resort. I can't understand how it gets such high ratings. The place seems stuck in the early 2000s. Rooms are dated, and basic repairs seem to be treated as optional. Our safe didn't work, there were toilet problems, and the bedroom door barely locked. The reception staff also acted as though guests were a nuisance at check-in, and that poor attitude seemed consistent. They promote à la carte restaurants but don't make it clear that you need to book ahead. I only learned that after being turned away. The main restaurant served the same mediocre food every day, nothing awful, just repetitive and not remotely memorable as luxury dining. The water park was decent, but it shuts at 4pm, right when the weather is becoming bearable enough to enjoy it. The slides looked poorly maintained, and using them gave me the feeling of hoping they would hold together.

Schaby for President! 😁 The animator Schaby was the best part of our holiday. He was funny, open, and easy to talk to, always making guests feel included and creating a great atmosphere. Honestly, he deserves a raise, and we'd come back just for him. The rest of the stay was great too. Staff were friendly and happy to handle special requests. There was a big food selection every day, so everyone could find something they liked, and our room stayed clean with regular cleaning. Thanks for a lovely vacation!

The animation crew helped make our week at Kaya Belek really enjoyable. Thanks to Mehmet, Schaby, Jaylin, and Yusuf for their energy, professionalism, and friendliness, and to Merve at the pool bar for her excellent service and positive attitude. Food was another strong point, with good variety and consistently good quality. Reception was the one letdown. Several staff members were unfriendly, unhelpful, and sometimes rude, which didn't match the great service from everyone else. When we raised the issue, we were told, “Go and complain to Guest Relations, this is the hotel policy.” That response was unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Reception alone kept the stay from being perfect. Without that problem, we'd seriously have considered coming back next year, but the way we were treated has put us off. I hope management takes the feedback seriously, because the rest of the staff and facilities deserve better representation.

Aqua cengiz has been so welcoming and lovely with the kids. We're two days into the holiday and enjoying our time by the children's pool. I can't fault the staff or facilities, but we've found it uncomfortable spending any time in the room because it's at 23 degrees and the AC is controlled centrally. We have a 9-month-old and believe the temperature should be lower based on UK SIDS guidance. We first asked for a fan and were told it wasn't possible. After some pressure, staff did find one for us, so we're hoping it helps. We only realized the AC issue after being pressed to write this review.
