Spice Hotel & Spa All Inclusive

The evening entertainment was enjoyable, the bar was open all the time with fast service, and the meals were outstanding. The buffet was refreshed every day and offered plenty of choices for different tastes. The team were amazing, friendly, and attentive, taking care with little details that made the holiday memorable. Thanks in particular to the kitchen staff Jamal & Adam, reception staff Ibrahim & Kezban, and bar staff Gokalp & Aman. The whole team was excellent. I didn't manage to learn everyone's names, but these were the people I interacted with daily. You really don't need to leave the hotel, even if you spend the whole day inside. It was a wonderful experience, one of the best hotels I've visited. Everything was very clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The games room kept our 11-year-old busy even in February, especially the basketball machine, and the gardens looked immaculate. We also loved the billiards and bowling. It’s only about a 20-minute transfer from the airport, which made arrival easy. Our land-view room looked out over lush greenery and the Taurus Mountains from the loggia. We usually choose a garden outlook for the extra quiet and privacy, and this one was lovely. Its position also kept the sea wind off the terrace, so we could sit outside despite the blustery weather. The room matched the hotel photos, and the minibar was topped up regularly. A bottle of wine and fresh fruit waiting on arrival was a thoughtful welcome. Spice Hotel & Spa has striking oriental interiors, and the whole place was kept exceptionally clean. We thought every meal was delicious. The staff were warm and helpful throughout, especially RAHMI, who looked after us at Casablanca Bar each evening. Our son became very fond of him. The service and atmosphere made the stay feel special. Compared with our other trips in Turkey, this hotel really stood out. We’re already thinking about coming back in summer to see the resort then.

I really did feel at home here, and I’d happily return. Even when the hotel was busy, the staff stayed quick, kind, and attentive, often offering help before I asked. Everyone we met was lovely, from the bellmen and housekeeping team to the lobby staff. Special thanks to Chef Adam and Jamal, and to Fateh, Jokalb, Rahmi, Aman, and receptionist Kezban. The rooms were handed over spotless, and the lobby bathrooms were clean too. The hotel is beautiful and well organized, and I felt relaxed throughout. Food and snacks were available around the clock, with water easy to find everywhere. There was plenty of food to choose from, and it was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. It’s hard to single people out when the whole team was so good. Highly recommended.

The noise was another problem. Music carried on until midnight, and it was far too loud to sleep before it stopped. The Wi-Fi was also really poor, even though it wasn’t full season. Our room faced the sea and got sun all day, but there was no air conditioning. On the first day we were told there’d been a technical fault and it was fixed, yet six days later it still wasn’t working. After several complaints, they said they’d bring a fan, but none arrived. They explained that many rooms had the same air problem and there weren’t enough fans. The beach was dirty, with plastic, stones, and plant debris in the sand, so shoes were needed. Sunbeds could only be used on the wooden platform beneath the fabric shade. We weren’t allowed to move one onto the sand in the sun, so anyone wanting to tan had to put a towel on the dirty beach. A woman and a man from the hotel staff scolded me for having my sunbed on the sand, even though I was more than 35m from the shoreline. I attached a picture. There wasn’t much entertainment compared with other hotels, with no theme nights or live concerts and only a few activities. The food was mostly good, but less varied than at other five-star places. The cakes looked nice, but tasted like sugar and food coloring. We couldn’t use the indoor jacuzzi because its water was very cold. I wouldn’t return. This wasn’t a pleasant stay, and I don’t consider the hotel five-star.
