The owner was wonderful, very friendly, polite, and helpful. For the price, this is the best option, and I’d highly recommend it if you want somewhere cheap and reliable. They could have supplied towels and toilet paper, though. Also, the toilets weren’t Western style, which isn’t ideal for a tourist.

It’s in a calm, peaceful spot, and the price is reasonable, but payment is cash only. The entrance and exterior look better than the inside. There are some rather odd restrictions, like not being allowed to wear your shoes in the room.

Barak was incredibly kind and helped with anything we needed in the rooms. He also went out of his way to help with taxis and buses and show us around the city. We loved staying at Otel Efe and would recommend it to anyone.

I came with a group of friends. The place was clean and affordable, and the staff were very kind and helpful. We had a great time.

We had to take the high price for our one-night stay because we had no other choice. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the place was dirty and smelled of smoke throughout. Everything was dusty, the bed was really uncomfortable, and there was only a squat toilet.
