Amore Boutique Hotel

We stayed three nights and nobody came to clean or replace the towels, soap or shampoo. The service was very poor, and the manager wouldn't return our deposit of around 50 USD. It felt like all they cared about was getting more money from us. There was no complimentary drinking water in the room, and breakfast included just one boiled egg. Definitely not recommended.

The hotel was far from the beach and other facilities, with little available nearby. We paid for a five star stay but it felt like a hotel with no stars. On top of the room cost, six small bottles of water cost us 350 liras, though the same amount costs 18 liras at the supermarket. There weren't even trash cans in the rooms. At night the corridor leading to the rooms had no lights, so we had to use our phones to see. The pool smelled like sewage. My child became sick and coughed, and the doctor said it was from using the pool. The breakfast was awful, and I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want to enjoy your vacation.

Our stay at Amore hotel started well, with friendly staff and a nice pool, but the checkout ruined it. They added a 1400TL bill for extras, including five small bottles of water at breakfast and a large bottle from the room fridge. Nobody had told us water would cost extra, despite Bodrum being 35 degrees. The manager had seemed very nice, but this charge felt like a setup. A Nescafé at breakfast costs 120TL, and each bottle of water is 50TL, so I wouldn't recommend staying here. Köfte was 500TL too, just for comparison, köfte in Bodrum edition costs 560TL.

We visited in April for work and were the only guests. The family running the hotel were wonderful, always available to help and very kind, even though speaking English was difficult for them. We had dinner there once, it was typical food and quite good. They had just opened, so things were still a work in progress.
