The balcony was my favorite part, with yachts and turquoise water right in view over the bay. Bac has a lovely traditional feel, and my room was comfortable, clean, and well kept. The staff made me feel welcome, and breakfast was simple, fresh, and enjoyable. It’s not a luxury hotel, but the setting on the waterfront is hard to beat, and I thought it was good value. I’d happily come back.

From the rooftop terrace, the sea view was lovely, and breakfast was good. The pension is right by the water, with plenty of shops nearby, and the staff were very friendly and courteous. My room was clean and had everything listed, though it felt older. There was just one outlet, by the desk, and the bathroom could use some work.

I came prepared with earplugs because the noise after dark was the one real downside. Being close to the nightlife has its upside if that’s what you’re after, though it isn’t my thing. For the price, location, and what you get, this is my favorite of the hotels I’ve tried around the Bodrum area. The room was large, the view was beautiful, the service was good, and the boats to Kos, Datça, and other places are within walking distance. It’s not especially luxurious or modern, but then I probably couldn’t afford it if it were.

Be sure to pack earplugs. Staying right in the heart of Bodrum means it can get noisy. I enjoyed my time at Bac Pensions and would return. The building and rooms have an antique feel but are well maintained. Paying extra for a seaside-facing room is worth it for that incredible view. Breakfast was good, with another look out over Bodrum bay while you eat.

If you want to enjoy the nightlife, have a few drinks, and be back in your room a minute later, this is a great option. Our seaside suite had a breathtaking view. It’s right in the middle of Bodrum’s bar street, and there’s a nearby beach that’s crowded but easy to get to.
