Dream Palace Bodrum

The hotel is right on a bar street, so expect noise until morning. Its only real advantage is being close to the beach. Don't be taken in by the Instagram photos. I mean this sincerely: it feels like the hotel's only concern is your money. The rooms were filthy, and nobody seemed to care about cleaning. We asked for coffee and were told they were out, so we had to bring our own from outside. At breakfast, they said lemon wasn't included when we asked for some, and it took ten minutes of waiting to get tea. The cheese was so tasteless that even the cat wouldn't eat it. The waiter's disrespectful behavior was unacceptable, and the staff were ignorant and rude. I've never stayed in such a terrible place.

The hotel's only plus is how close it is to Gumbet beach. I've been visiting Bodrum for years, and this was the filthiest, most disgusting hotel I've seen. The management was awful, and it was so noisy we felt like we could jump out of the window. The staff were rude, ignorant, and indifferent. Fights brought police to the entrance every evening during our stay, and we didn't feel safe. Every night felt like Esenyurt in Istanbul. Travel agencies should take it off their recommended lists. I absolutely don't recommend it. ☠️

Our girlfriends were verbally harassed at the hotel, and the hotel did nothing about it. After that, we wanted to leave early. We were told we'd get our money back after leaving, but everyone we tried to contact said they'd left the job, and we never got a refund. I won't even get into the breakfast, cleanliness, or staff attitude. I'm just sorry this happened.

If zero stars were possible, that's what I'd give. There was no professionalism, and it felt like they were trying to get as much money out of us as possible. I would rather sleep on the street. The drink prices were exorbitant, but being sober in this place was unbearable. There was no hygiene: old razors left in the showers, no clean towels, and sheets that hadn't been changed. Toilet paper wasn't replenished either. We often got old or dirty towels marked as fresh or new. The sheets were changed only after we asked several times, and even then it took a long time. The hallways looked like they hadn't been mopped since the hotel opened. There seemed to be no cleaning staff, and vomit stayed in the hallways for more than a week. Underpaid students work there. At the pool, staff gave women dirty looks or shouted after them. This place was hell. If you're going on vacation, stay away from this zoo. Never again.
