It's a great location, just 50 m from the promenade. The rooms are quite old and bare, with no amenities, so bring things like soap and shower gel. There's no water or kettle either, just a basic room. Fine for a night or two.

At 75€/night, the room felt like a rip-off, given what we were staying in. It smelled very strongly of smoke, and nobody asked about our preference. The mattress was visibly dirty, as you can see in the picture. There was a lot of noise, though that's true everywhere in Bodrum. At check-in, there was no kindness at all.

Durak Pension is right in the city center and just 30 meters from the calm sea, so the location is hard to beat. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. Such a gem in Bodrum, highly recommended for a visit.

The staff were friendly, and the place itself was good, but it was dirty. They didn't even provide basic items like soap, shampoo, or toilet paper. The curtains and bed sheets were really dirty too.
