Retron sits in a handy spot beside Gümbet Beach, between the nightlife in Gümbet and Bodrum Marina, with Bodrum old town beyond that. We had a peaceful garden and got along easily with the other guests, who were friendly and polite. You can stay in a three-bedroom flat with a wraparound balcony, or upgrade to a spacious two-level place with direct access to the garden and pools.

Being so close to the sea is a real plus. The place does have infrastructure problems, though, including a sewage smell and WiFi coverage issues.
