Abant Aden Boutique Hotel & Spa

The spa was professional and relaxing, and the hotel itself made for a restful stay. Staff were friendly and always smiling, and breakfast had plenty of tasty options. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed, with a lovely view. It's near both the lake and the main road. 😻💆‍♂️

We had a really lovely trip. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the food tasted great, while outside the nature was beautiful, with cute ducks and rabbits and romantic fireplaces. Our room was comfortable, the place felt warm, and the staff were kind. Thanks to everyone for making the trip so nice.

The natural setting and the warm bread served with the meal were the only things I really liked. Getting to the entrance means climbing one long staircase, around 70 steps, and that's the hotel's only access. There's no elevator, so older people and guests with disabilities are effectively shut out. Staff have to carry guests' bags up those stairs. The owner was often around watching everything, and during the COVID pandemic I saw him without a mask. The beds were terrible and could cause serious back pain. Internet was extremely slow, didn't reach every part of the hotel, and was especially bad in the rooms. The whole place has only two routers. You also can't rely on having complimentary water, coffee, or tea in the room. It felt like high prices for low quality service, and the staff, though polite, seemed constrained by the hotel's policies.

The view was perfect, and the rooms were clean. We got polite service and tasty food, so the stay was definitely worth it. My only small gripe: there wasn't a door hanger, so you had to ask the front desk specifically to have your room cleaned.
