The food was delicious, and the setting was so calm, surrounded by lovely nature. Everyone on staff was really sweet and amazing. I’d pick this peaceful place again next time I’m nearby.

A cozy, warm room with a cool mountain breeze coming through, and wood everywhere, from the rooms to the stairs. The lodge sits tucked between the mountains in the lovely village of Bolu. The family staff were welcoming, and the place was very clean.

Breakfast had lots of choices and was amazing. We only stayed one night, and found the hotel cozy and peaceful. Just be aware there’s no air conditioning, fridge, or snacks. I’d recommend it.

The room was clean and warm, and the view and location are especially lovely in winter, with snow all around. It’s a simple, inexpensive place that could suit someone spending time at Abant lake and just needing a basic overnight stay. The family running the hotel were lovely, simple villagers. Breakfast was a simple homemade meal. Quite a few things weren’t in the room, including internet, a telephone, and a snack bar. It’s a hotel without a star rating, so that may be expected.
