Selin Yaşam Evi

The meals Mrs. Nebahat prepared were delicious, and she clearly has excellent cooking skills. We also loved waking up to Pasha the parrot. The windows opened onto a wonderful view and fresh air, and listening to the rain at night while relaxing was a lovely experience. After driving through heavy rain, dense fog, and darkness, arriving at this warm, cozy home felt like reaching a relative's house. Mr. Yaşar kept calling during the journey to check on us and welcomed us warmly. Our suite was thoughtfully designed, hygienic, and very relaxing. The upstairs room was private and worked well for a family. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom and toilet were clean and functional, and the shared lounge was relaxing too. We spent two nights at Selin Yaşam House during our family trip in the Eastern Black Sea region, and everything was perfect. Macahel, near the Georgian border, is a place you must see for its nature, people, and atmosphere. Mr. Yaşar and Ms. Nebahat made us feel right at home.

We loved the garden and the view, with the snowy peaks of the Karçal Mountains and all that lush green nature. The local food was fantastic, the rooms were clean, and Yaşar Abi and Nebahat Abla were so hospitable. This peaceful guesthouse made us feel as if we were living in a village house in Macahel. Calling it a hotel doesn't quite fit, it's more like a "House of Life," just as the name suggests. We had two wonderful days here on our Macahel trip. If we're back in the area, we'll stay here again. And Yaşar Abi's homemade honey is fantastic.

We went as two families with three children, and everyone felt right at home. The children ran around and played while we relaxed. Nebahat Hanım was kind, and her regional dishes were amazing. It really is a peaceful haven, just like the name suggests. Everything was great, and we'll definitely stay there again if we return.

The shoes off indoors rule is one of the nicest details. It makes the place feel clean and homey, which is invaluable. We spent four days at Selin Yaşam Evi during our Artvin tour, organized by @hacersucuogluadiguzel, and felt at home the whole time. Furkan, his mother, Ms. Selin, Mr. Yaşar, and Mikail abi, who came along on the trip, were all incredibly attentive. They treated us like family rather than customers, and we're so grateful for their warmth, care, and sincerity. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Artvin. It feels like a peaceful home, not a hotel. 🌿
