Baldan Suites Hotel & Restaurant

For a quiet, restful holiday, this is a really good choice. The sea was lovely and clean, and the views were amazing. The rooms are stylish, though I spent most of my time on the seabeds. Staff were friendly and helpful, and both breakfast and dinner tasted good and came in generous portions. Prices were about the same as at other places nearby.

At first the location might feel a little isolated, but if you want to unwind, it’s absolutely worth going. The speedboat takes you into town whenever you like, and the ride is only a few minutes. The owners are great, and the staff are so kind and helpful. This is the best vacation I’ve ever had. I’ve stayed twice already and plan to return every year. It really does feel like heaven on earth.

I’m furious about how this hotel handled my booking. They took my deposit months ahead, then cancelled just days before I was supposed to arrive. They offered to move the booking to another date or refund me. I couldn’t change my dates, so I asked for the money back and gave them the bank details they requested. Since then, there’s been nothing but silence, even after I followed up. I’ve travelled to many places and have never been treated this way by a hotel. Tripadvisor gives me a chance to share how disgusted I am and warn others about this shambolic treatment. Avoid at all costs.

A wonderful place to stay if you want peace of mind and a really relaxing break.
