The building is a converted old Bozcaada house, right in the heart of Bozcaada. We stayed in January with two children, during very cold weather, but the room stayed warm. We were especially glad to find rooms that can accommodate families with up to four people. The owner was very kind, the atmosphere friendly, and the hotel clean. We were really pleased with our holiday and with everyone’s sincerity and kindness. You can confidently choose this hotel any time.

We left unhappy, especially after a fight broke out in the room across from ours in the middle of the night. At breakfast there were only the familiar jams, and I couldn't find the island's distinctive tomato jam. The plates, glasses, and forks still had food on them. Our sheets and towels were clean, but nobody took out the rubbish or cleaned the bathroom; I wasn't sure if I was supposed to request that. The hotel is very central, so you can walk almost everywhere, but check what's actually in your room. A minibar was listed among the amenities, yet ours didn't have one. If you want a window, make sure it faces the street. Ours looked onto a ventilation shaft, which staff described as a garden. Also bring an eye mask: the smoke detector flashed like lightning in the dark, and with my migraines I had a really hard time sleeping.

The breakfast was delicious, with a buffet that had plenty to choose from, though getting it ready meant waking up at 8 a.m. :) There were three of us and we were all very happy with our stay. The rooms are small but comfortable and spotless. The hotel is right in the market, close to everything, and I'd rate the location 10/10. I don't know the previous owners since the hotel changed hands, but Ms. Nermin is attentive and careful with the little details. The bathroom kits are Ateiler Rebul and the toothpaste is Marvis, a small touch that I really liked. I'd gladly stay here again and recommend it.
