There was no Wi-Fi, even though the room had a password, and no wardrobe for hanging clothes. Nobody had told us about the lack of a wardrobe. The doors and toilet were filthy, and no one asked whether we needed cleaning or anything else. We never saw a hotel owner greet us or check during the day whether we had any problems or requests. I would never recommend this hotel.

The room was filthy and looked abandoned. The fridge had spoiled yogurt and empty cola bottles, and the toilet was dirty. We stayed one night because we had no choice, but never saw anyone in charge. It seemed like their other businesses were upstairs and our side was treated like a stepchild. Nobody welcomed us, asked if we needed anything, or answered our questions about the island. A young man cleaning the floors was the only person we found, and without him there would have been nobody to ask. The owner of the neighboring guesthouse kindly helped us. I made a phone booking at Uysal Pension and sent 550 TL for one night. I asked for confirmation on WhatsApp, but none came, and there was no reply. When we arrived in Bozcaada, navigation took us to a building with no hotel name; we had to ask around with our suitcases. I've attached photos of the fridge. This was the worst place I've ever encountered. I guess the positive reviewers are friends and family. We believed what we read and went there, so I wanted to leave this review to stop others having the same experience. It was a waste of money. After this bad stay, I recommend staying away.

You feel like you're on an island holiday with family. The people are wonderful, friendly, and welcoming, and the rooms are clean with everything you need. Breakfast is served from 9-11 a.m., with delicious homemade jams, special village bread, Ezine cheese, and more. Go, you won't regret it.

They hung up on me, which was a terrible first impression. The staff were disrespectful and arrogant, and the way they handled the booking showed no understanding of business management. I booked through Booking.com, but they asked me to cancel it and pay them the commission they would otherwise have owed. As a travel agent, I’m ashamed I chose this place.
