Blue Port Hotel

This is a municipal place, and it's clean and well supervised. The restaurant has standard appetizers and meat dishes, and serves alcohol if you want it. By seaside restaurant standards it feels below average, but it's not cheap. Being a municipal hotel doesn't mean it'll suit a retiree's budget, though it is more affordable than restaurants elsewhere.

The hotel is clean, with daily room service that follows hygiene standards. Staff are capable and very respectful, and the food and drink selection is so plentiful you could gain weight. Breakfast and dinner are generous, and the Blue Crab à la carte restaurant is high quality. There's also an afternoon Cafe Break, a thoughtful touch that many 4-5 star hotels skip because of the cost, plus unlimited complimentary water from well-known brands and free coffee machines available all day. Blue Port is a newly renovated municipal establishment, with a pool very close to the blue flag beach, though it doesn't seem to be a popular choice. The nightly rate is better than comparable places. In my view, it has long deserved a 4-star rating, but has been sacrificed to politics. I travel a lot for work and believe it deserves four stars. First, congratulations to Burhaniye Municipality. The mayor has kept delivering services and equipped this lovely district with businesses that make it an attraction. Mayor Ali Kemal Deveciler deserves praise for his work. I booked through an agency, and all my requests were met. Thanks to the Blue Port managers, General Manager Kemal Bayraktar, Food and Beverage Manager Akın Arslan, and Front Office Chief Mustafa Bey for their work toward guest satisfaction. We came with friends and really regret it. The rooms were damp, cleanliness was very poor, the staff were awful, and the food was even worse.

The family room was a great choice for us with kids: two separate rooms, two bathrooms and toilets, two balconies, and a sea view made it comfortable and convenient. The hotel is only 30 meters from the sea, with its own sun loungers and umbrellas, and the pool was very clean. The rooms were hygienic and generally spotless. They're a little old, but we didn't feel short on comfort. We stayed at Blue Port Hotel for two days, and from the moment we arrived it felt like the start of a lovely holiday. Mr. Barış welcomed us warmly and gave us a great start, so our sincere thanks to him. A special thank you as well to Ms. Nagihan, whose kindness, friendliness and professionalism came through in nearly every part of our stay. Her effort and dedication really stood out. This was our first time at Blue Port Hotel, and we were very satisfied. I hope they keep up the same service quality. See you next year! 😊
