The one real advantage was being within walking distance of the sea. The hygiene wasn’t good, and the pillows and beds weren’t comfortable. There was a washing machine, but no balcony or drying rack for laundry. When booking, check which apartment you’re getting and ask directly, since there are four different apartments. Only apartment 1 is listed on the website and seems to have a balcony. We were booked into apartment 3, and it wasn’t very good.

There’s a lovely garden with places to sit and barbecue, plus a shared kitchen and reception open around the clock. The hotel is in central Ören, Burhaniye, Balıkesir, with restaurants and cafes close by and everyday needs within easy reach. There’s no private beach, but the nearest one is 100 meters away. It has 11 rooms and 35 beds and stays open all year. Parking is available, and the hotel is accessible for disabled guests. Rooms have a TV with satellite service, a desk, chairs, a refrigerator, and air conditioning. Bathrooms come with toiletries, slippers, towels, and hot water at any hour. High chairs are available in the restaurant. Check-in starts at 13:00 and check-out is at 11:00 so rooms can be thoroughly cleaned for the next guests. You can pay with cash or a credit card.

The utensils were dusty, with cotton-like bits on the cutlery, so we decided not to use them. The room also seemed to have been left as it was after the previous guest: there was hair on the floor and a full garbage bag in the closet. We asked for Vileda and cleaned the room ourselves. There wasn’t any soap or towels, either. I’d suggest bringing your own cleaning supplies.

It’s a family-friendly place, and the beach is about a six-minute walk away. For nearby shopping, Pehlivanoğlu Market is downstairs and Şok Market and two butcher shops are around two minutes away. There’s also a baklava shop about two minutes away, a bakery and pastry shop four minutes away, and an A101 supermarket and ATMs roughly six minutes away.
