The wait after my hospital visit was what made this so frustrating. I’d booked Ibis Bursa directly through the Accor website and asked to check in early, but the staff weren’t friendly or willing to help. First they said a room would be ready by 12:30. After more than two hours, I’d seen many guests check out and leave, yet there was still no room for me. Then another staff member said check-in could only happen at 2:00 PM, which contradicted what I’d been told. I expected more empathy, especially as an Accor member who had booked through the official site. Booking directly should benefit both sides, but this experience made me question that choice when other platforms list the same rooms for much less. The service didn’t match what I expect from an Accor property. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve staff communication, customer service, and care for guests in special circumstances.

Good place, but the room gave me two bad choices: the window wouldn’t close properly, so cold air kept coming through, and the ventilation roared like a truck. Stay warm and lose sleep to the noise, or sleep cold. Luckily, the people next door seemed to do heavy cardio all night, helping with global warming!

The rooms are on the small side, but clean and decent, and the staff were polite. Breakfast was good. It’s a quiet location near the metro, about a seven minute drive from the historical centre.
