We enjoyed staying here. The apartments are clean and new, with a pool and facilities for children. The owners are welcoming, and breakfast is good.

The bed was really comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a big fridge with a freezer. We were happy with breakfast too. The owner was welcoming and helped us whenever we had a question. Everything was perfect.

The price is low, the salads taste good, the beds are comfortable, and the small rooms are generally okay. There are some nice corners in the garden and it’s close to the beach. Paid internet worked reasonably well for us. Still, I was glad to leave and wouldn’t recommend this place. If your budget is limited, try somewhere else. Kiris itself was a letdown: no bars or restaurants, and the beach was overcrowded with mass tourism, far from anything natural or pleasant to look at. Twins hotel seems to offer transfers, but doesn’t actually provide them or help much with arranging one. The room wasn’t very clean when we arrived. I had to insist three times before the cleaners did even a little. Breakfast was awful, with no yogurt, fruit or cheese, just odd sausage, strange cake, hard-boiled eggs and salads. The rest of the food was boring and not very good, though passable. Avoid the desserts, they tasted like garbage. The hotel atmosphere was unpleasant, with loud, trashy music playing most of the day, even while we were trying to work. People seemed strange, rather rude and uninteresting, mostly Russians, Ukrainians or people from other Russian-speaking places. The internet setup makes no sense. You can pay 8usd for 3 days for good internet, or use just 100mb for free, but only one option works on one device, even though it’s supposedly one per person. If I paid to use it on my laptop, I couldn’t use the free option on my phone. The staff weren’t especially nice or helpful. When we asked about planning visits, their slightly scammy answers made me wonder if they were getting commissions, though I don’t know if they were. Once we asked reception to call a cab, and they said they didn’t have the cab company’s number and told us to google it on our phones.

We walked about 12 minutes to the municipal beach with our child, and it had sun loungers. We liked the nearby Migros Jet, which was easy to reach on foot. The apartment was comfortable, with just 8 rooms. Ours was downstairs, with windows facing the street and pool. I think upstairs is nicer because there’s a corner balcony. Kittens often came by the ground floor. Breakfast was included. It wasn’t a huge selection, but there were always tomatoes, cucumbers, cheeses, black and green olives, fruit like melon, grapes and plums, plus milk, muesli, eggs and bread. One hot item changed each day, such as omelet, pancake, sausage or French fries. Tea and coffee were available, and the coffee machine could be used all day without limit. There was a water cooler too. The grounds were tidy, with pomegranate, avocado, olive and tangerine trees, a hammock and a children’s play area with toys. There are two pools, one for adults and one for kids, though we always went to the sea instead. A couple of things to know: there’s a washing machine but no dishwasher, which I missed on vacation. There’s no regular housekeeping, and linen and towels are changed on request. We paid extra for Zarina, a hotel worker, to clean; she was quick and neat. We were three people, and when the third person showered in the evening, a breaker kept tripping. We had to keep switching it back on so they could wash with warm water.
