Akol

Our stay was only about 14 hours after a full day of travel, and the hotel met our expectations. We got the adjacent rooms on a high floor that we'd asked for, plus an extra hour to check out, thank you. The rooms were basic but sufficiently equipped and very clean, with balconies overlooking the Strait, the Kordon, and the Hollywood Trojan horse. The housekeeping lady we met in the hallway was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. Check-in was fast and efficient, and the bellboy rode in our car to direct us to the parking behind the hotel. It worked perfectly for our stay.

There seems to be just one lift for hundreds of guests, and getting up to my room on the fifth floor could take 20 minutes. We arrived, went to use the toilet because I had serious diarrhea, and discovered the flush didn't work. We've already been waiting for a while for someone to fix it, but nobody has come. If I can't even use the toilet, I'd rather sleep in the woods.

A disappointing stay. The beds were too hard, and building materials were left all over the place. The lifts were slow and struggled with four people. The breakfast area was dim, the food wasn't labelled, and the toaster didn't work. The staff didn't seem to care.

Friendly service and clean rooms at a good location by the sea. I'd recommend it.
