Set Ozer Hotel

Breakfast was amazing, with a traditional Turkish spread in the hotel’s cute courtyard. The place is cozy, right in central Çanakkale, and the staff are friendly. I’d stay again if I return to the city.

Breakfast had plenty of fresh, tasty choices, and the staff were kind enough to give my son an extra room for the three of us. The hotel was clean, with lovely staff, but there aren’t any facilities. Our room looked partly onto the courtyard and partly onto a wall. We felt like we were sleeping on top of a nightclub, and the noise was deafening until 3 am. Thank goodness for earplugs. We were tired and didn’t have the energy to complain. It’s in the cobblestoned historic area, around the corner from the clock tower and the port for the Gallipoli ferries. Shops and food places fill the busy streets, and great coffee shops are right nearby. The hotel parking is next door and felt safe, secure, and reliable. I’d suggest they get a coffee machine, since us Aussies like our morning caffeine. If you don’t mind having no views, it’s worth considering. I would have preferred an ocean-view room, as there are plenty of choices in Cannakale, but I still recommend it.

We spent New Year’s Eve 2025 at this boutique art hotel, and the staff made the stay especially pleasant. Everyone was upbeat and quick to respond to questions or requests. The artistic character gives the place a homely feel, and the spacious rooms were clean. Breakfast was generous and had suitable choices for vegetarians. The location is convenient, with city attractions within walking distance. An extra wardrobe in the rooms would be useful. I highly recommend it, and we’ll stay again on our next visit to the city.
