We stopped for one night at Hotel Temizay while traveling through Canakkale with our two children. The room was roomy, spotless, and comfortable, just right for a family on the way through. The hosts welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Breakfast offered lots of fresh choices that both the adults and kids enjoyed. Covered parking was included, which was reassuring for leaving the car safely overnight. The ferry terminal is a five-minute walk away, and the ancient site of Troy is nearby, so it was easy to get around without a car. Metin Abi, thank you for all your kindness and support during our time in Turkey. It meant a lot to us!

The rooms were clean and the location near the ferry was great. For the price, it was good, though the place felt a bit run down. The rooms are small, and some appliances aren’t quite right.

Everything was perfect for us, from the staff and rooms to the location. We’ll visit again.

4/10
The place was clean, and the staff were kind and friendly, but sleeping here was a struggle. The beds were so hard I couldn’t sleep, harder than any I’ve experienced. I asked for extra blankets to cushion the bed, but they weren’t fluffy enough to help. It was also hard to control the room temperature, and the thin walls left me feeling like I had no privacy.
