We arrived at midnight without a reservation, but the friendly staff still gave us a room on the fifth floor. It was clean, had AC and a fridge with water, coffee and tea, and the buffet breakfast was included. Very satisfied.

Dinner is served for just one hour, from 7pm to 8pm. When we arrived at 8:05pm, grumpy kitchen staff chased us away even though food was still out. Prices were inconsistent too, with one staff member saying 350TL and another 250TL. At checkout they tried to charge the higher amount, and I had to insist on the lower price. The main reason I'm giving a second star is that, despite being very complacent, most of the staff seemed to be trying to be nice. Our room on the lower floor was very noisy, with trucks and cars constantly going by on the motorway next door. We asked to move upstairs, which was quieter, but then found the safe locked and the phone wires cut and barely attached to the wall. I had to go down to get help because I couldn't call reception. A staff member came with keys, said the safe didn't work, but I tried it and it did. He said someone would fix the phone. Over our three days, we asked three staff members on three separate occasions, and each promised it would be fixed “today.” The phone stayed broken. The shower cabin was nasty, its drain clogged and the shower head holder broken. There was a foul sewer smell coming from the toilet that lingered in the bathroom, and the towels were dirty. Avoid this place, there are better choices in Canakkale.

The rooms are clean and have A/C, TV, hot water and the usual basics. It's an affordable three-star hotel that serves its purpose, as long as you aren't expecting luxury. The bathroom and shower together felt claustrophobic, which was my main complaint. Restaurant food was mediocre at best, though for the price you can't beat it.

The staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious. The shower is very small and a bit outdated, and the plumbing could use some cosmetic work.
