Agarta Cave Hotel

The terraces and the 5 am hot air balloons are memories I won’t forget, and the hotel is so close to the cave churches and sacred places. This was my first visit to Kapadokya, and everyone made me feel welcome. Thank you, Agarta Cave Hotel staff, for making the trip so special.

Ali even drove to the pharmacy in the middle of the night when one of us was stung by a bee and needed medicine. He helped with everything we could think of, and all the staff were wonderful. The rooms were spotless, the views were stunning, and breakfast was delicious and generous. We had an amazing time at Agarta hotel. If I come back to Cappadocia, I’ll stay here again. Thank you for everything ❤️

The village is quiet and authentic, but you’re still close to what you need. The entrance to Red and Rose Valley is right nearby, the balloons are closer, and a beautiful castle is within walking distance. I’d choose this charming small town over staying in Göreme. Our stay was unforgettable. The rooms were spacious, with lovely design, modern comforts, and beds so comfortable it was hard to get up, except to see the balloons. Breakfast was a treat every morning, with fresh ingredients, generous servings, and better flavors than I expected. The staff were kind and professional, helped arrange our activities, kept our luggage after check-out, and answered all our questions. The cave-style rooms also preserve the region’s history while giving you modern comfort. And a special hello to Aga, the sweetest dog, who made the visit even more memorable.

The hotel managers, Mehmet Ali Bey and Salih Bey, made a stressful situation much easier when we had an unexpected car accident. With no repair shops open on Sunday, we were stranded, but they actively helped us find a repairman and get the support we needed. We were able to sort things out and travel home safely. Their compassion showed us real Turkish hospitality, and we’re very grateful. The rest of our vacation at Agarta Cave Hotel in Göreme was outstanding too. The hosts were warm, the service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. Our room blended traditional cave architecture with modern comforts. Waking up to hot air balloons rising over the valley from our terrace was a once-in-a-lifetime sight. I wholeheartedly recommend Agarta Cave Hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia. The scenery is breathtaking, and the people stay with you even more.
