Scala Otel

The mountain view was beautiful, and the service was good. The lake is around a five-minute walk away, and Wi-Fi is available. You can ask for an iron, though mine came without the board. The bathroom was small, which could be a problem for some people.

The balconies have a magnificent view, and this is one of the best apartment hotels in the area. Mohammad, the Syrian host, was very kind and helpful. The owner was there too and gave us a discount. I’d really recommend staying here with family, and we enjoyed our time.

The rooms weren’t clean, and the wooden walls smelled like pee 😀. We also had hardly any privacy, with people passing the window even though the curtains were closed. We booked four rooms almost a month ahead, but only two were available when we arrived. They explained that “four rooms” meant two rooms plus the two living rooms, which share space with the kitchens. That wasn’t mentioned anywhere during booking. Four of us ended up sleeping in the kitchen/living room, with our upper bodies on the couch and the rest of us on chairs. Definitely wasn’t the experience we wanted.

The staff were great and really helpful, and I loved the location. We had a very nice stay in Uzungol and I’d come back to the same hotel next time. Thanks a lot ❤❤❤🌹
