Surya Hotel worked well for our Alaçatı trip because we wanted somewhere central just for accommodation. It’s good value, with rooms that cover the basics and friendly staff. You can walk to the Old Town and the popular bars, which makes evenings easy. After going out, it’s nice to get back without worrying about transport. It suits people without luxury expectations who’ll spend the day out and want a safe, clean place to end the night. If you want to stay in the heart of Alaçatı and put more of your budget toward activities outside the hotel, I recommend it.

Ms. Elif deserves a special thank you. She was friendly, attentive, and professional, quickly taking care of everything we asked about. Her dedication made us feel special and made our holiday much more enjoyable. Seeing staff like that inspires confidence, and she’ll be one of the main reasons we choose this hotel again. We were very pleased with our stay.

The staff were friendly and pleasant, and apart from the issues below, the room was fine. But check-in was supposed to be at 2:00 PM, and when we arrived at 3:30 it still wasn’t ready. They asked us to give it half an hour. We went to dinner and came back 40 minutes later, and still had to wait. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly either: there was shampoo left by the previous guest, and the trash hadn’t been emptied. We were woken by banging in the morning. The restaurant is above the room, so I think even the sound of a chair came through like it was in our room. Maybe it was just us, but I couldn’t recommend it. The pool looked nice, though it wasn’t very big; we didn’t use it, so I can’t say much more. Most places are a 10-minute drive away.

Our 2 PM check-in turned into getting the room at 4:30 PM :). It hadn’t been cleaned, and even the previous guests’ cotton swabs were still there. I also found spiders in the room. Being woken early in the morning by doors slamming wasn’t pleasant.
