Belong Hotel

The staff made us feel like family, and we found it hard to leave. We stayed four days and five nights, then added two more. Even going to the market during the day, we found ourselves missing the hotel. Thanks to Merve Hanım and Engin Bey for making us feel at home, and special thanks to Mami, Zehra, Mert, and Aysima for their care throughout the day. We hope to see you again soon. The welcome and service were excellent. We were tired from our journey, and the cocktails they offered took all the fatigue away. Our spotless room was beautiful, with a balcony overlooking the pool, and we had no problems at all. The hotel is very close to the centre. If you get hungry at night, I definitely recommend Engin's sausage sandwich. The grilled sea bream and appetizers were fantastic too, and the 24/7 service was excellent 👍 Thank you for all your hard work ❣️

The one good thing was the breakfast, which is why I'm giving it one point. I wouldn't recommend staying here. We couldn't sleep because of the sewage smell, and there were smells of rust, mold, and mildew too. First they showed us a room with no windows and argued that it had air conditioning. We refused, so they put us in the room next door, but we couldn't stand the smell there either. We asked to change rooms because of it. The beds were falling apart, and the air conditioner kept stopping and didn't work. The place needs maintenance. I hope you take that seriously. When people go on holiday, they at least expect cleanliness.

Four of us booked two rooms for three nights. The staff were very friendly, and Muhammet and Zehra in particular kept checking whether we were satisfied and gave cheerful service. We thank them both. The rest of the experience was awful: the rooms were filthy and missing basic features, and I found it the most unhygienic hotel I've ever stayed in. We used tissues to turn on the shower taps. We asked three times for the rooms to be cleaned, but they kept saying they had done it when they hadn't cleaned them properly. After we argued with Ms. Yaren, they finally cleaned, but the dirt looked like it had been there for years. The shower smelled of rust, there was plastic waste everywhere, and the refrigerator was bad too. There were no hangers or anywhere to hang clothes, and things were constantly missing. When we complained, management asked what was dirty. Didn't they ever go out and check? They seemed clueless about running the place and didn't care about customer satisfaction. Music played constantly, including at 5 am, when people are trying to sleep on vacation. Don't go if you want a good night's sleep. If you want to throw your money away, this is the place. The owner may now comment that they cleaned because we asked, but it shouldn't take guests pointing out the mess before anything gets done. We're not trying to harm anyone's livelihood. Sharing what happened and pointing out what the business didn't deserve is perfectly normal. People should know the truth.

The food ended up being a big part of our week. We ate out for the first two days, then tried dinner at the hotel and kept eating there almost every day. The meat and appetizers were fresh, the cuisine was excellent, and prices felt very reasonable compared with other places. My girlfriend also got hooked on their special pink cocktail. We stayed seven nights, and the staff were attentive and friendly in a fun, family atmosphere. Thanks to Engin and Merve for looking after us. It was a wonderful stay, and we hope to see you on our next vacation.
