Cesmeli Boutique Hotel

We were charged an extra 2,000 TL at check-in, supposedly in case we caused damage. The room had plenty of problems already: the oven was broken and had a sign on it, the window foam was torn, the toilet wouldn’t flush, its paper holder was broken and missing, and the showerhead mount was broken. There wasn’t even a small bar of soap. We’ve stayed in lots of places, and even though we said we’d traveled a long way, the hospitality was zero. It felt like they only cared about our money. Mosquitoes filled the room, and ants came out from under the bed and wardrobes, so we had to buy insect repellent ourselves. They also said cleaning and other costs explained the higher price for one night. The floors are stone with no carpet, so it doesn’t take much to clean. It looked like someone had just pushed a mop around, and not even everywhere. Proper cleaning would at least have gotten rid of the ants. At checkout, when we asked for the extra 2,000 TL back, they tried to keep it, claiming a mosquito had died on the sheets and damaged them :)) Fix the broken things and fumigate the room. Don’t use little things like this as an excuse to take people’s money. I definitely don’t recommend it. If someone doesn’t care about money or comfort, they can go.

The owner is really friendly, and the rooms felt cleaner and more hygienic than a 5-star hotel. I recommend this healthy, clean, and welcoming place to friends coming here, even if they have to travel 100 km. I hope they can come with peace of mind.

We had breakfast downstairs for two days, and it was very nice and tasty. The staff were friendly, and everything we used in the kitchen, including the plates, forks, and pots, was clean. The sheets, pillowcases, and blankets were spotless, too. There’s a Bim supermarket downstairs and a Migros very close by. If you’re coming through Sahibinden (a Turkish online marketplace), bring your own towels. We were very satisfied and would like to visit again.

Dalyan isn’t far from Çeşme or Alaçatı, even though you might think it is. The farthest point is only a 10-minute drive. We stayed in a 2+1 apartment for a week and ended up very pleased. We’d had some doubts about the location and cleanliness beforehand. Don’t expect 5-star hotel cleanliness, though after years of staying in those, I’ve seen plenty there too. The cleaning here was excellent, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I’d recommend it to anyone planning a visit.
