The people here were super friendly. We were given cold water bottles when we arrived and a free çay when we came back from dinner. There were two more waters in the minibar. The price was very good value, so we’ll definitely come back despite the noise and other drawbacks. The room was small but clean, and the bathroom was clean too. The shower flooded from poor drainage and took a while to get hot water. There were generous amenities and towels, including four slippers. We wondered whether the thin disposable plastic cups would melt if we made hot tea or coffee, but didn’t test it. The soundproofing was bad. We could hear the neighbors talking, banging from upstairs, and all sorts of street noise. It wasn’t too loud, but it felt strange with a blackout curtain. To me, a dark room goes with a quiet environment.
