Gonulhan Hotel

We were really pleased with our stay and I left feeling at home. The staff were lovely, and the rooms, pool, and shared spaces were all very clean. It's close to the city center. I'm so glad we came.

We've stayed in many hotels around Alaçatı over the years, and I wouldn't recommend this one to young people or couples. The market is too far to walk to in that heat. The rooms are spacious and adequate, perhaps better suited to families, but the hotel feels plain, from the rooms to the breakfast. The buffet is so simple it would make more sense to serve a basic tomato and cheese plate instead of wasting guests' time. Other hotels' breakfasts are worth comparing. The people seemed shy, quiet, and indifferent. Maybe the owners paid little attention to us because we're men. They never asked how our stay was, and the woman with glasses at the door had a very sullen, negative expression. This isn't a professional establishment, it's a family-run business, and what other reviews said about how it is run seems true. We'll report it to the relevant authorities.

The staff were welcoming, attentive, and friendly, so I felt right at home. My room was spotless, the thoughtful details were there, and the cleaning was excellent. Breakfast was perfect, all fresh and carefully prepared. Staying here was one of the best parts of my Alaçatı vacation. Thanks for everything, see you again soon 💛
