Of the last five hotels we stayed at in Cesme, this was the worst. The room hadn’t been cleaned: there were feces in the toilet, hair, and dirty dishes. It’s not really an apart hotel when the kitchen has nothing for cooking except a kettle and three filthy mugs. The air conditioner was broken, and the shower gel bottles had dried foam on them, so they’d clearly been left by previous visitors.

I came for a week at first, then decided to stay for a month. It’s quiet and cozy, and in February, March and April the hotel was completely calm. Nobody bothered me, and everything was fine. It seems like a nice place for digital nomads and remote IT workers. Check the Wi-Fi speed, though. It worked well enough for me, but might not suit people working with big data. The owner speaks excellent English.

The castle and marina are both an easy walk away, and there are great restaurants close by. The area is surprisingly lively, with everything you need just steps away. This is a cute, quaint boutique hotel, family-run, with comfortable rooms and balconies. Nedim was kind and very helpful, and the service felt personal. Breakfast was great. Highly recommend.

We were especially impressed by the friendly, English-speaking staff and their hospitality. The rooms were spotless, easily 10/10, and nothing seemed like a problem. When our friends’ house lost power, we came back to the hotel since it still had electricity, ordered takeaway, and ate in the bar with the house cat 😊 The quaint hotel is just metres from the main square. Highly recommend.

We ended up staying five nights even though we’d only planned on two. It felt like home, and we were genuinely sad to leave. Nedim, the owner, is honest, helpful and amazing. We’ll definitely be back very soon. Five stars hardly seem enough.
