Rasim Palas (Adults Only +12)

Staying here felt like being in your great-great-grandfather's summer mansion, with the grandeur of another era and modern comforts. The place has been renovated with attention to detail, and the amenities were lovely. The sea was so blue, the food and drinks were excellent, and prices were reasonable. Even as a high-end property, it felt unpretentious. The whole team was smiling and the service was superb. Special thanks to Dilek at the Front Desk for her help and sweetness, Bedirhan our bellboy, and the courteous service team. As a retired hotelier, I found being a guest here a joy. I'd highly recommend a few peaceful days here, in a historic and relaxing setting 🤩

The location was a real highlight, and having a private beach was lovely. Our room was kept clean, too. The staff and manager were always smiling and welcoming, and breakfast was entirely organic. It’s the nicest hotel and the kindest people I’ve come across. If you’re after a relaxing holiday, I’d definitely come here.

We spent five nights in Room 09. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and had a lovely view. Housekeeping was professional, the beach area was well organized, and the laundry help was kind. Ms. Dilek at reception was especially helpful, and the only person we met who spoke fluent English. There’s a lot of potential at Rasim Palas, but several service problems seemed avoidable with better training and supervision. The young staff were polite and tried hard, though some tasks were beyond their experience. When we asked in Turkish for two servings to share a meal, we got utensils but no extra plates, and by the time the plates came the food had gone cold. My English-speaking spouse asked for a fork and spoon, wasn’t understood, and ended up getting them from the drawer himself. Someone young and inexperienced bringing our laundry also unlocked and entered our room without knocking, which raised a serious privacy concern. Breakfast came on a fixed tray, with little flexibility. A buffet or a choice of menu cards could cut waste and make it more comfortable. The tea was always weak. The terrace and front restaurant looked inviting online, but we could hardly use the area during our stay. There was just one umbrella and one ashtray, and at times we waited for other guests to finish with them. The umbrellas were closed and the space wasn’t ready to use. The beach was beautifully maintained, and we’d like to see that same standard in the terrace and front yard. There was no dinner service. The dining table in the front yard and the dinner photos gave a misleading impression, which was frustrating, especially as evening dining options in Ilıca are limited. With a few focused changes, Rasim Palas could become a standout in Çeşme. Thanks for taking these comments into account.

The food stood out during my stay at Rasim Palas. Breakfast and dinner both featured carefully prepared dishes that brought local flavors together with a modern touch, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and happy to share recommendations. The hotel’s preserved architecture gives it a lot of character and a sense of history. It’s also right in the heart of Çeşme Ilıca, within a short walk of the main attractions and local spots. I was impressed by the whole experience, and would recommend it to visitors.
