I was there for five nights on a work trip, and the stay was really pleasant. The room was comfortable, with a fantastic view, and it stayed spotless throughout. The food was tasty and nicely prepared too. The location worked well for both business and free time. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. I’d recommend the hotel for a relaxing break as well as a business stay.

The hotel itself is lovely, but during the off-season it felt deserted. There were few nearby shops open, so we had to take taxis whenever we wanted to go out. The Italian, Asian and Turkish restaurants were all very expensive, so we only ate breakfast there. The spa also kept peak-season pricing, and some offers were only 5-15% off. I’d have expected more reason to dine in during the quiet season. At the kids club, the woman working there was lovely, but every day at midday she had to take a break and the children were sent out because no one could cover for her. We couldn’t leave the kids there during that time. The main problem was how our suite upgrade was handled. At check-in, I asked as a Gold Accor member whether an upgrade was available, since it was off-season and there were very few guests. Staff around the property confirmed how quiet it was, and breakfast was attended by just our family, my business partner’s family and a few others. The man at reception said there were no upgrades. Our room was a good size, but faced the hotel entrance. My wife called reception and another woman said a suite was available and asked us to come down. We saw it, loved the beach and pier views, and went back to accept it. The first receptionist was back, so I asked why he’d said there was no upgrade. He replied, awkwardly, that he hadn’t known. He then said he needed to ask his manager, and came back saying we could have the suite if we paid. I asked about using my Gold Accor points, and he indicated that should be possible. After some negotiation, he said a free upgrade wasn’t available because they could still sell the room despite the season, and quoted 600 Euros. I paid. Later that day, my business partner, who isn’t a Gold Accor member, checked in and was offered a suite upgrade without asking, for the same price. He didn’t have to use points to bring the price down. At checkout after seven days, another staff member said there was a problem taking the Accor points and I’d need to pay the difference. They waited until then to tell me. I was frustrated and said clearly that I wouldn’t pay more and they needed to sort it out. After about half an hour, they managed to take my remaining points. This was a terrible guest service experience, with staff at both check-in and checkout being untruthful. I won’t book here again, and I’ll make sure my friends, family and colleagues don’t visit either. Unless things change, I wouldn’t recommend staying here or consider returning.

The guest relations team deserve a special thank-you. They were warm and kind, always ready to help, and handled every small request quickly. Their genuine care made us feel valued and added a lot to our two wonderful weeks in Çeşme. The hotel was already amazing, but that personal touch made the trip unforgettable. Thanks to everyone for the effort. We’ll choose this place again on future visits.

Our five-year-old had a blast at the kids club, with crafts, games and plenty of playtime. We left him with the two lovely ladies, including fatma, and he didn’t ask for us at all. We loved it and are thinking of coming back again and again because of the kids club.
