Villa Inci Apart Otel Cesme

Mr. Hüseyin and Ms. Sevgi made us feel so welcome. They’re wonderful hosts.

We felt so happy and at peace during our holiday. Hüseyin and Sevgi are lovely people, and the place has the warmth and comfort of home. We’ll make it our regular spot each year.

We’ve spent five summers here, and Sevgi and Hüseyin have become incredibly precious to us. We’re not related, but it feels that way. It’s in a beautiful part of Ilıca, with everything within walking distance, and the service is excellent. The rooms and wet areas are spotless. You don’t need to spend a fortune on a hotel when this wonderful apartment feels like your own summer home. I’m grateful to them again.

The apartment itself is in Ilıca, close to beautiful places, and we spent seven full days there. I also want to be fair about the holiday: Hüseyin and Sevgi were warm and sincere with us, and we felt at home on the patio. We usually would have asked for room cleaning, but took care of it ourselves, and even helped clean the restroom and other rooms in a room they’d forgotten before another reservation. We were already talking about working here again next year. My concerns started before arrival. I contacted Hüseyin through the app to book via Airbnb, where the listing showed as pet-friendly. He asked for my number, then told me about a 750 m² garden, patio, and a room in the garden where pets were allowed. We said those conditions worked and wanted to reserve, but he asked me to message him directly with the IBAN because the app charged a commission. Trusting his sincerity, I paid the deposit. This is why I’d caution people against sharing their number with sellers on online sales sites before buying a service. During the stay, a woman vacationing upstairs gave one of my dogs cheese. The dog became sick and vomited after I took her to our room. I cleaned it as best I could, went out to the garden to ask the woman not to give her more, and told Sevgi the dog had vomited on the sheets. Sevgi brought me a bucket and asked me to wash them, which I did. At 1:08 PM, when we left, we vacuumed the room and cleaned the toilets. Two hours later Hüseyin called and said my dogs had urinated on the beds, right down to the baseboards, and said he was sorry. I explained to Sevgi what had happened and that they weren’t toilets, but she didn’t listen. She replied with something like, “Am I lying?” and hung up. I apologized and offered to cover any losses, but got no positive response. At midnight I even got out of bed to send WhatsApp photos of everything, from the bed and pillows to the garden. If my dogs, who barked only once in seven days, had peed on the beds, I wouldn’t have slept on them and would have asked for cleaning. I know this is a long comment, but please be careful with this place and similar apartments. Get the service you pay for. Don’t go overboard trying to help, or you may end up getting crushed like we did.
