Izgen Bungalows Hotel

The hosts were friendly and spoke English, and the breakfast was enjoyable, especially the fig jam, gozleme, and Turkish coffee. It wasn’t a huge meal, but it was good. Our bungalow was a nice fit for the price for one night: two rooms, four beds, a shower, and a terrace with a table. The beach is close, and there’s a small parking area in front of the hotel. We didn’t need a TV, shampoo, shower gel, or wardrobe, but be aware that none are provided. There are lots of houses around, so it can get noisy, and the roosters were quite loud at 4 a.m.! If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs might help. It’s a lovely, simple place, without much in the way of frills.

We stayed in the wooden cabins and liked how the natural timber gave them a cozy, woodsy feel. They’re simple but well thought out, clean, and practical. Our double room had a spacious bed with fresh linens, soft daylight from a large window, and an open shelf rack with towels and hangers. The twin room was just as comfortable, with a soft rug and sweet details that made it feel homey. The bathroom was clean and private, with attractive tiling, a modern shower, a tidy sink area, and strong water pressure. The staff were kind, helpful, and always smiling, and breakfast was fresh and delicious each day. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the large balcony was great for relaxing or doing yoga in the morning. The location felt quiet but central, good for exploring or simply having some peace. It’s a comfortable, peaceful spot if you’re after a simple stay close to nature. We’d definitely come again and recommend it.

Lovely staff, tasty breakfast, and a great atmosphere in these charming bungalows. You can walk to the beach, and I’d happily visit again.

It was hard to leave Izgen, we felt at home and wished we could have stayed longer. The family who run it are lovely, and language wasn’t a barrier at all. We had wonderful conversations with everyone, and thank you Omer and family for everything 💕 Our room was comfortable, with air conditioning and a terrace looking out toward the mountains. Breakfast was simply awesome 🤩. The quiet setting away from the crowds suited us perfectly when we wanted to unwind. We didn’t have a car, so we rented bikes to get around, and everything nearby was within about 20 minutes.
