Lemon Garden Lodge

It’s a clean, welcoming place with a nice shared area for relaxing or chatting, and it seems good for families. The location is average, with enough walking to reach the beach that it can feel tiring in hot weather. Our room was very clean, and when we reported a clogged bathroom drain on arrival, staff fixed it quickly. They were friendly and helpful throughout. We had dinner there once. The köfte and salad were enjoyable, though the other dishes could have had more flavor. The food came a little late, but they apologized kindly and brought us delicious homemade baklava, which we appreciated. Breakfast was average, mostly bread and fried food, and water wasn’t included, which surprised us. Still, there was unlimited fresh tea, and on our first day they gave us Turkish coffee and water for free. Internet was okay and usable, though not the best.

A quiet, cozy spot almost at the foot of the mountain, with a homely feel thanks to the very friendly staff. The chef makes interesting dishes from Turkish cuisine, and breakfast is excellent. Free bikes are available, although I’d suggest renting newer, more modern ones.

We’ve stayed here twice over the past two years and will definitely return. The rooms are very reasonably priced, and the setting is beautiful. You can walk to the beach or have just as much fun riding one of the free bikes. The cats and chickens are entertaining too.

The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were surprisingly spacious for a '2-star' lodge. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Our stay among the green garden and lemon trees was pleasant, and it’s just a 6-minute drive to the Mt. Olympus car park.
