Nerissa Hotel - Special Class

One thing to keep in mind is the distance: it's about a 20-minute walk to the nearest beach and the same to a store, though the hotel runs a shuttle to the beach area twice a day. For kids, I wish management would consider a bike rental service given how far away things are. Rooms 111-124 seem newer and have little private porches, so I'd choose one of those. Among the places I looked at for a stay with kids, this was one of the best options in Cirali. The grounds are well kept, safe for children to run around barefoot, and the place has a peaceful feel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with city-style conditions, including a shower. Breakfast had lots of variety.

The location is really out of the way, miles from the main town and with no beach access. I wouldn't want to stay here without a car, bike, or strong legs. Even so, it's great value, especially for the three-bedroom room we needed. Breakfast was great, there's a pool, and the staff are friendly. I'd recommend it.

The whole village had to listen for two days last weekend to incredibly loud, poor-quality music, after Nerissa apparently started allowing events on its grounds under conditions that aren't acceptable for the reserve. The hotel seems unconcerned that it's in a reserve and that this breaks the law, while presenting itself as a place to relax. I really don't recommend staying there under these circumstances. You could end up in the middle of a thundering volcano instead of getting a good rest. If the staff and owners don't care about others, imagine what that could mean for you and your vacation.

They show no respect for visitors or nature and seem to care only about their own pockets. It's a shame Çıralı lets these people run the place this way. The City Council needs to act urgently or Çıralı will be lost. Stay away from this hotel.
