We were only after lunch, not a stay, and went into Anitta with no particular fuss. The food turned out really good, though a little expensive, and it was a fun change for us. Service felt middling at first since nobody seemed to notice us and we were tucked away somewhere. Then a group of waiters and waitresses suddenly gathered around, maybe expecting a crowd soon. Still, we had a great time.

We didn’t feel especially welcomed, and the receptionist didn’t seem keen to help. The location was a real plus, though: we could walk to the museum, a large mall, and the city center.

The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were kind and tried to make guests feel at ease. I also liked the music in the lounges. A few practical things could be better: there’s just one Nescafe pack each day, and there should be more cartoon cups. After lunch, they don’t serve tea, which feels odd with a typical Turkish meal. The fixed menu could use another meal option, too. Still a nice place, with a few small things to improve.

Everything felt perfect. As we got our moto out of the garage and were about to leave, a staff member brought us a plastic bag filled with little cups of fresh water. Such a sweet gesture. Turkish people are incredible.
