Villa Tophill

The villa was clean, the furnishings were enough, and the pool was a good size. It’s peaceful there, though getting along the dirt road can feel scary, especially after dark. Frogs also keep turning up in the pool. We took them out of the villa several times, but they came back again.

The noise was awful at night. We came for the sounds of nature, but music and other noise kept us awake until morning. The villa next door was so close that we had to hear people swearing there all day. The place wasn’t properly cleaned either: no dry towels, towels hung around the pool, and cat hair everywhere. We arrived an hour late and still waited outside because cleaning wasn’t finished. Then at checkout, which was at 10, a man stood over us at 9. The pool had a frog swimming in it, and I think we caught germs from it because our mouths were sore the whole time. I understand there are bugs in nature, but this was too much. The kitchen was very bare, and the sun loungers were old and filthy. Our holiday was ruined. 😔 I’ve stayed in many villas, and this was the first time I’d had such an upsetting experience. I don’t think I’ll choose Hellovilla or Villaburada again.

The forest setting meant there was no phone signal, and we had lots of bees, mosquitoes and other insects. But there were plenty of problems inside too. The kitchen had very few items, not even a sponge, and the dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes. The washing machine leaked. Each bathroom had just one roll of toilet paper, with no spare, and there wasn’t an extra blanket or towel. The cleaning lady came as we were leaving, and everything had been locked in the cupboard by the door. We stayed a week as a large family, and not one of us was happy to leave. The location and cleanliness were both problems, and there was too little of everything in the house. We weren’t satisfied.

The sea was sandy and very clean, and the inside was clear and pure. I’ve visited Fethiye, Antalya, Side and Alanya before, but this was the most beautiful place for me. Our villa sits right in nature, and although the roads are a bit rough, it was worth the drive. Dalaman Sarıgerme Beach is 20 km away. The pool is sheltered and really great. I’d love to return and recommend it.
