The part I appreciated most was how welcoming and friendly the staff were. Having a balcony was useful too, especially for drying beach towels. Still, this was the least enjoyable hotel of my three weeks in Turkey, and I’d suggest looking elsewhere. Marmaris is a much nicer town with better-value hotels; Blue Yacht Marina Apart Hotel there cost less and felt like five times the value. At Brand Otel in Didim, getting to the room meant climbing several flights of stairs. The room itself was small but manageable, though the air conditioner was so loud I had to keep adjusting it before I could sleep. The bathroom was a wet room, so the floor stayed soaked after a shower and made using the toilet awkward. The shower was the biggest problem: barely any water pressure, and it took 10-15 minutes for the water to warm up. For me, it comes out as an average 3/5.

It's a peaceful, quiet place, and I’d recommend staying here. The host was attentive, the rooms were clean, and the service was really good. The location is lovely too, near the beach, restaurants, and other amenities, with two supermarkets close by.
